Lisa has cool auntie vibes. She loves animals and believes in the beauty and power of opening her home and her heart to those who are orphaned, sick, or discarded. She believes that all of us are worthy of unconditional love. She is especially interested in working with those who are estranged from their families and who need a supportive ghost auntie.

This hat is part of the Forgotten Grandmother Series, where I take half-finished fabric and quilts from my local thrift store and transform them into new pieces. It is made from 100% cotton corduroy with a plastic snap back.

Created as part of the Forgotten Grandmothers Series with new materials: cotton embroidery thread on 100% recycled nylon kids’ camper hats. Has an adjustable flat buckle closure, a quick-dry and antibacterial sweat band, and is water-repellent.
